Some new developments

So, since Jason last updated the blog, we've had at a couple new and fun changes here. First, we bought an iPad. I had been having some problems with my laptop and we decided that this would be a nice upgrade.

Then, right after we bought the iPad, my parents came to visit and my mother and I took Clara to New Jersey for the five generation photo. It was a really nice weekend. Clara was able to visit her great great grandma at her home. And when we put Clara in her arms, Clara started smiling and laughing. It was great!

I will post some pictures from that visit soon.

In our other fun news ... I got a job! I am working part time at Books A Million and am loving it. It feels really good to get out of the house a few nights a week.

So, there are our big updates. I will try to get some pictures posted here soon.

Birthday Party Photos

Just a note that we're doing a pretty big photo upload to the flickr site - our friend Natalie took some great photos from Hallie and James' birthday party. They can be found at our Flickr site . Enjoy!

Clara 2 month stats

Clara's trip to Dr. James was far less adventurous than in the past few weeks - just her normal 2 month checkup with *gasp* shots! She did great for the shots. Her stats were pretty impressive; 24 inches long (95th percentile), 14 pounds 2 ounces (97th percentile), and her head circumference is 41cm (95th percentile). She's going to be giving Hallie a run for her money in a few months :)

Two Years Stats

For their second birthday Hallie and James got to go see Dr. James for their checkup - what a great present, right? So from day 1 Hallie has been bigger in height and weight than her brother. Did that trend reverse itself? Well, not this year. Hallie came in at 36 inches tall and 29 pounds 10 ounces. She is in the 95th percentile for height and the 80th percentile for weight. Her head is 50cm around - that's the 97th percentile. Whew! James was not far behind- 34.5 inches tall (50th percentile) and 28 pounds (50th percentile also) - his head measured the same as Hallie, but only in the 80th percentile. Growing up fast they are. Hrmmhm.
